Units

The ORC Investigator will be critical to the success of the most complex and important business unit

at lululemon. The ORC Investigator will execute ORC initiatives that focuses on

protecting our people and assets, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, while

educating store teams on ways to minimize safety or security related incidents.

core responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships with law enforcement agencies (federal, state, local) and prosecuting attorney's offices in directing investigations and presenting cases for prosecution.
  • Execute ORC strategies assigned by ORC Manager to reduce unwanted criminal activity while identifying trends and patterns within your market(s) to cultivate investigation leads.
  • Utilize surveillance tactics (static and mobile) to validate organized retail crime investigations involving individuals, groups and establishments of interest.
  • Work complex field, fence, and e-fence investigations
  • Provide testimony in criminal proceedings on behalf of the company, as required
  • Develop and elevate the skill sets of field-based specialists
  • Collaborate with industry peers on developing large scale investigations focused on prolific and violent offenders.
  • You will work in concert with your ORC Manager, Asset Protection Manager and retail business partners to align and address urgent business requests and trends.
  • You work with cross functional internal partners, other retailers, and law enforcement to deter and address organized retail crime (ORC).
qualifications
  • At least five years' experience in organized retail crime investigations
  • Bachelors' degree preferred.
  • Communication Skills - strong ability to tell your story (written and verbally) to powerfully teach others the skills to support our ORC strategy and AP vision.
  • Strong documentation and case building skills.
  • Certified or demonstrated ability in addressing retail theft at strategic level, conducting complex external investigations with history of success, and a basic working knowledge or physical security and protection strategy.
  • Analytical Skills - ability to identify, document, and create data/powerful metrics involving all external theft patterns and trends amongst the assigned area.
  • Innovative Thinker - ability to propose new tactics to mitigate theft and get the buy-in from the appropriate business partners
  • Sound Decision Maker - be agile, balance multiple priorities and make the best decision to support our teams and the business goals

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$88,200 - 115,800 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
