Responsibilities

The TikTok Datacenter Infra team is looking for a Data Center Asset Management & Logistics to develop and drive Data Center asset lifecycle management. This includes the aspects of managing the inbound and outbound logistics, cycle count , and supporting decommissions. A hyper-scaled data center comprises a massive hardware demography - product category, original manufacturer, years of warranty, cost, and efficiency. The individual we're looking for would be a fast learner who is able to grasp critical information, apply best practices, hands-on and devise plans for execution. Responsibilities: - Be responsible for data center asset lifecycle management: covering the entire process from receiving to retirement for all core IDC equipment including racks, rPDU, servers, networks (switches/OTNs/optics/AOC/etc), cables, cooling liquid, etc. - Conduct daily operations including inbound and outbound asset management, cycle count, RMA, relocation, decommission, inventory management, etc. Act as the first point of escalation of all asset management operational related matters for assigned regions. - Standardize SOP and promote best practices across the global regions, and incorporate SOPs & practices into asset management systems. - Monitor operational KPIs; report asset accuracy and discrepancies, and drive asset accuracy improvements. - Interface with Finance, Internal Audit, and security teams to ensure asset mgmt compliance & security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sourcing, Procurement, Server Engineering, Network Engineering, and Platform for operational activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Technical bachelor's degree and 4+ years of data center supply chain & logistics experience - Expertise in CDN site delivery processes, with a track record of ensuring end-to-end data traceability and real-time CMDB/asset system updates during receiving, deployment and handover - Hands-on experience in CDN procurement, capable of managing the full PO-to-receipt-to-reconciliation cycle independently - Familiarity with CMDB, ITAM or similar systems - Detail-oriented, data-driven and solution-focused; skilled in variance analysis and driving issue closure - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Self-motivated, adaptable to multi-cultural environments Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on experience with data center hardware infrastructure, including servers and network equipment. - Strong analytical capabilities to query diverse data sources and derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
