What this job involves:Lead comprehensive oversight of all asset management functions for a defined Freddie Mac portfolio as an Asset Manager, responsible for borrower and Production Officer relationships. This role requires exceptional time management and organizational skills while delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external clients. You'll proactively monitor portfolio risk, ensure loan covenant compliance, process borrower requests, and meet periodic reporting requirements. This senior position involves mentoring Asset Management Analysts, identifying business opportunities within the existing portfolio, and working closely with clients on operational and financial matters while maintaining JLL's high standards of service excellence.
What your day-to-day will look like: • Actively monitor property-level risk across assigned Freddie Mac portfolio using internal and external sources
• Analyze and approve annual/quarterly financial statements while conducting/reviewing annual property inspections nationwide
• Identify refinancing opportunities within portfolio and provide recommendations to Production team
• Work closely with clients on operational, physical, economic, and loan covenant matters while documenting findings
• Review and approve escrow releases for replacement reserves, repairs, insurance loss, and rental achievement
• Monitor Special Request processing with Consents team and review overflow lender consents as needed
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree preferred in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5-7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, asset management, or equivalent field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent mathematical, verbal, writing, and organizational skills
• Exceptional time management abilities and capacity to meet demanding deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage several transactions simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications: • Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to self-audit work
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
• Outstanding customer service skills (written and verbal)
• Experience mentoring junior staff and identifying new business opportunities
