Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:
As a core member of our portfolio management team leading our risk and liquidity analysis for our managed evergreen investment programs.  You will help lead our internal risk considerations for our investment committee.  In partnership with our portfolio managers, you will be responsible for ensuring that registered ’40 Act funds maintain adequate liquidity to support regulatory and redemption obligations.  Your role will involve stress-testing liquidity models and analyzing the optimal mix, allocation, and timing of liquidity tiers to determine the most efficient approach to fulfilling capital needs while minimizing cash drag. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior research leads, portfolio managers, and operational partners.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Build and own forward-looking liquidity models (subscriptions/redemptions, distributions, capital calls, unfunded commitments) and provide clear 30/60/90-day triggers to PMs on sizing liquidity sleeves
  • Lead ’40 Act liquidity oversight for the platform, partnering with risk and compliance teams, to ensure vehicles remain continuously compliant without over-allocating to idle cash
  • Assist in the oversight and management of debt providers
  • Support our Investment Committee in the risk evaluation of new investments
  • Optimize liquidity sleeves and cash deployment, including solutions for investing cash held against unfunded commitments and guidance on deploying excess cash consistent with constraints
  • Coordinate a unified liquidity view across PMs, Trading, CFO/Treasury partners, and administrators

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of full-time relevant work experience in asset management and/or private investments with a focus on risk and liquidity management
  • Strong data and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of ’40 Act evergreen funds and knowledge of corresponding international evergreen fund requirements
  • Demonstrated experience building predictive cash-flow/liquidity forecasting models for multi-vehicle portfolios
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic and team-oriented mindset

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience structuring/negotiating fund financing facilities and implementing them operationally (covenants, monitoring, reporting)
  • Experience applying AI/ML tools to forecasting, anomaly detection, or workflow automation in a controlled environment (model documentation, testing, and stakeholder sign-off). 
  •  SICAV Part II, preferred
