Full Job Description
Analyst, Commercial Loan Asset Management to join our Asset Management team in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience across the commercial real estate loan lifecycle while contributing to the monitoring and performance of a diverse loan portfolio.

Working closely with the Manager, Asset Management, you will review borrower reporting, analyze asset performance, monitor compliance with loan terms, support construction draw reviews, and help maintain accurate portfolio information. You will also collaborate with borrowers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to identify emerging issues and support timely, informed decision-making.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor assigned commercial real estate loans throughout their lifecycle, including payment activity, borrower reporting, covenant compliance, project milestones, and asset performance.
  • Review loan documents and key terms to support accurate loan setup, administration, and ongoing compliance.
  • Analyze asset-level performance against borrower business plans, loan requirements, and available collateral information.
  • Identify material variances, investigate discrepancies, and escalate emerging issues appropriately.
  • Review construction draw requests and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with loan requirements.
  • Coordinate with third-party project monitors and internal stakeholders to support draw assessments and loan advance recommendations.
  • Request and follow up on financial statements, reporting packages, construction updates, and other required borrower information.
  • Maintain professional relationships and clear communication with borrowers, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and validate update memoranda, presentations, portfolio summaries, data sets, and investor reporting.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and organized portfolio data and electronic loan records.
  • Contribute to portfolio initiatives and process improvements.

What You Bring
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate, construction, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • One to three years of experience in commercial lending, loan administration, real estate finance, asset management, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and close attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • The ability to work independently, seek guidance when appropriate, and collaborate effectively.
  • A genuine interest in commercial real estate, construction finance, and lending.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with commercial loan documentation, construction lending, data analysis tools, macros, or VBA is considered an asset.

This is an office-based role in Dallas, Texas, with occasional travel based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus. Trez Capital also offers health and dental benefits, 401K matching of up to 5%, and three weeks of paid vacation.
