Compensation & Schedule- Salary Range: $82,500 - $100,000 / year (Depending on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Directs the daily work of assembly teams, spanning several operational areas to fully accommodate manufacturing needs.
- Program Management: Takes ownership of program management for a key, high-profile product line, managing the assembly process from start to finish.
- Production Coordination: Supervises overall production by collaborating daily with customer service, production control, and paint shop management.
- Quality & Engineering: Oversees ultimate product quality, designs/develops assembly operations for new production lines, and relentlessly improves existing processes for peak efficiency.
- Workforce Planning: Reviews forecasts for upcoming production needs, runs open order reports, properly assigns tasks, and ensures team members are continuously cross-training to build a flexible workforce.
- Performance & Metrics: Analyzes area performance results to drive continuous improvement activities that meet or exceed safety, productivity, quality, and uptime goals.
- Talent Development: Conducts Associate performance reviews, identifies skills gaps, creates individual development plans, and manages team time and attendance according to company policy.
- Workplace Excellence: Attends daily production meetings to report out on project status, review order fulfillment, and handle known downtime or quality issues. Performs daily 5S audits to maintain an optimal, safe floor.
Position Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (ideally in an engineering or technical discipline).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing: Practical experience with Lean methodologies such as 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving, and Value Stream Mapping preferred.
- Systems & Software: Ability to work efficiently within ERP systems, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
