Full Job Description
seeks candidates for an ASE Engineer to support Cargo PO. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Perform avionics system architecture design and analysis.
  • Lead systems integration activities across avionics, communication, navigation, electronic warfare, voice/data recording, and automatic flight control systems.
  • Conduct test planning, evaluation, and performance analysis for integrated avionics systems.
  • Provide system maintenance, troubleshooting expertise, and technical oversight.
  • Support Information Assurance compliance activities and documentation.
  • Manage component and system-level obsolescence and recommend solutions.
  • Review Modification Work Orders (MWOs) and aircraft integration documentation for accuracy, compliance, and technical integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and successful aircraft modernization efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 17 years of cumulative experience in avionics systems and integration.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, systems integration processes, and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency with engineering software tools, data analysis techniques, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and demonstrated analytical thinking in resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent aerospace experience in Electrical/Avionics and Communication/Navigation integration within Army aviation systems.
  • Prior experience in avionics systems engineering and systems integration.
  • Familiarity with Defense Acquisition Lifecycle processes, including Milestone C documentation development and review.
