Role Overview

The Area Service Leader for Fire Service Southeast leads through local Operations managers to support profitable, efficient execution and exceptional customer service across the assigned geographic area. You will partner with regional, business, and enterprise leadership to help ensure consistent service standards, strong customer outcomes, and growth-focused operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and empower local Operations managers so they can lead strong teams and deliver reliable results.
  • Drive profitable and efficient project and service execution across the territory.
  • Set and reinforce high standards for professionalism, service quality, and operational discipline.
  • Build an inclusive, high-performing culture that supports employee engagement and customer excellence.
  • Collaborate with region, business, and enterprise leaders to align priorities and sustain predictable service delivery.
  • Monitor the business environment across the designated market, including legislation, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Support growth strategies and operational improvements that strengthen performance in the market.
  • Help align staffing, capacity, and resource planning with market needs and business goals.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience leading a business effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of inclusive people leadership experience.


Nice to Have
  • Experience with contracting.
  • Understanding of S&OP, construction legalities, procurement, and functional support structures.
  • Change management experience in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to influence managers and front-line teams with trust, support, and a strong say/do ratio.
  • Deep understanding of how service performance affects P&L.
  • Proven ability to foster customer satisfaction while acknowledging diverse needs.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams that value collaboration.
