Position: Area Manager
Position Overview:
The Area Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of our operations in the Phoenix area. This includes overseeing project management, scheduling, budgeting, and client relations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record of success in the mechanical contracting industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all projects in the Phoenix area, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
- Create and manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost control measures.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of project managers and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Phoenix area.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
