About the Role:

The Architecture Expert serves as a technical leader responsible for defining, developing, and advancing product and system architectures that support Electrolux's long-term product strategy. This role provides deep technical expertise in a specialized engineering discipline and ensures new technologies, components, and solutions align with platform standards, product requirements, and business objectives.

Working across global cross-functional teams, the Architecture Expert drives technical innovation, supports complex development initiatives, and influences product roadmaps through the application of engineering best practices. This individual acts as a key technical authority, helping solve complex challenges, standardize solutions, and guide the successful execution of strategic development programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, develop, and maintain system and component architecture requirements, specifications, and design guidelines
  • Ensure new technologies, components, and product developments align with established platform and subsystem strategies
  • Drive standardization initiatives to improve product performance, scalability, and development efficiency
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise for complex product and technology development projects
  • Evaluate technical alternatives and recommend innovative solutions to address business and customer needs
  • Lead technical investigations, root cause analyses, and resolution of complex engineering challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier partners
  • Influence product architecture roadmaps and long-term technology strategies
  • Serve as a technical reference and mentor for engineering teams within the region and across global organizations
  • Support partnerships with external organizations, research institutions, and universities to advance technology development
  • Promote engineering best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement across projects and teams


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of engineering, product development, or architecture experience
  • Demonstrated success leading complex technical projects from concept through implementation
  • Deep expertise within a specific engineering discipline, technology area, or product domain
  • Experience developing technical requirements, system architectures, and design standards
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively in a global matrix organization
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading product platform, subsystem, or module development initiatives
  • Experience working with external technology partners, suppliers, or academic institutions
  • Advanced knowledge of product development processes and lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated success driving innovation, standardization, and technology strategy initiatives
