Description
Duties and Responsibilities
The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects within the Architecture department.
Establish & maintain project design schedule
Manage all meetings with the client
Manage / participate in all project meetings during the construction phase
Review & monitor project design budgets
Review / manage Milestone schedule with the Project Architect to confirm schedule and commitment of the content of the documents.
Collaborate on resolution of design issues
Coordinate with Construction Project Managers
Communicate with A.H.J. as required during permit review process
Oversee coordination with:
Civil engineers and landscape architects on site related items
Outside architects that may be part of client's project team Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineers In-house structural and precast engineers
Interface with the client regarding any client contracted consultants
Assist the precast manufacturing department
Manage the assessment of the required design staff over the life of the project.
Be a Mentor for the less experienced staff.
Qualifications
You have earned a Five Year Bachelors or Master's Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program is preferred.
Registered Architects in Florida preferred but not required
You have the ability to manage multiple projects
You have experience in integration of structural & MEPFP systems
You have a minimum of five years of experience managing and leading teams on either commercial or residential projects
You must be able to communicate in both written and verbal formats of English at a professional business level.
You are residing in Central Florida or are willing to relocate if not here already.
