Architectural Project Manager

Description

The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects from beginning to completion. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects within budget and on schedule, while ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. The Architectural Project Manager will have strong leadership, project management skills to ensure financial success of given projects, architectural expertise to guide teams, manage stakeholder communication, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Duties Include
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead all phases of project development, from initial concept to construction administration, ensuring seamless collaboration between architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, requirements, and scope.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to financial and time constraints. Review and approve architectural designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure that designs and construction comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining high-quality outcomes throughout the project.
  • Conduct regular design reviews to maintain project quality and consistency.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, project billing, tracking financial performance, and resource management.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and milestones.
  • Address any issues or changes that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation.
  • Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards of design and construction.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Proficient in Revit.
  • Experience with retail, restaurant, or commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Smartsheet, Deltek and Outlook.
  • Adaptable and receptive to instruction from others.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent oral, written and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or related field.
