Architectural Job Captain - Multifamily | Mixed-usePosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Architectural Job Captain to lead the design and documentation of multifamily and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in project development, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and the design team to ensure that all architectural designs meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the architectural design process for multifamily and mixed-use projects from concept through construction documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Develop architectural drawings and details using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on design documents, ensuring quality and compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the production of construction documents, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and timely.
- Mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design and documentation, particularly in multifamily and mixed-use projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and building codes.
- AIA certification is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
