Full Job Description
Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Architectural Engineer for our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Menlo Park, CA. In this role, you will work as part of a team to help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and will be a key member of our national practice.

You will be responsible for

  • Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of building envelope and building material failures.
  • Conducting analytical and computer problem solving
  • Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations
  • Marketing to new and existing clients
  • Successfully managing projects


You will have the following skills and qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture or M.S. + at least 4 years' post-graduation experience
  • Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
  • Willingness and ability to secure a professional license in Engineering (PE) or Architecture (AIA)
  • Must possess strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical information and present it to specialists and non-specialists alike
  • Clear written communication and technical writing skills are required
  • Must have a proven dedication to quality and accuracy
  • Must be versatile, team-oriented, willing to work overtime and travel when required

Compensation

Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions and have an opportunity to plan for future success and career growth. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Associate and Senior Associate level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.

Salary Range

USD $117,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
