Job Title: Data Architect (ETL & Snowflake)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and the Snowflake AI Data Cloud platform. In this role, you will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of our enterprise data platform. You will bridge business requirements with cloud data architecture, modernizing legacy data warehouses and constructing scalable, high-performance data integration pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy: Architect, build, and optimize scalable enterprise cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse platforms.
Snowflake Design: Design robust Snowflake architectures using advanced features including Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, Streams Tasks, Data Sharing, and Snowpark.
ETL/ELT Integration: Lead end-to-end data integration strategies. Architect scalable data pipelines using tools such as dbt, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory Informatica, or Talend.
Data Modeling: Establish conceptual, logical, and physical data models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault 2.0) for high-throughput analytical workloads
Performance Tuning & Cost Control: Optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, and storage costs within Snowflake.
Governance Security: Implement enterprise data governance, metadata management, and security patterns including Role-Based Access Control row-level security, and data masking
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Overall Experience: 10+ years of experience in data engineering, enterprise architecture, or large-scale data modeling.
Snowflake Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and optimizing Snowflake cloud data environments.
ETL/ELT Proficiency: Deep experience in batch and real-time streaming ingestion, API-driven integrations, and orchestration tools
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience integrating Snowflake with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructures.
Database & SQL: Expert-level SQL tuning, data warehousing principles, and schema optimization.
DevOps Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect or SnowPro Core certified
Migration Experience: Proven track record of modernizing on-premise legacy platforms to cloud platforms.
