Responsibilities: - Serve as the principal technical leader for the Governance Platform R&D organization, partner with senior engineering leaders to make key decisions, plan strategies, and drive execution, serving as a trustworthy consultant for org-level initiatives. - Lead and drive the organization's critical long-term technical roadmap and ensure the successful execution of initiatives. - Define technical direction for the org by designing sustainable systems, frameworks, and patterns that scale and drive business impact. - Mentor and develop other engineering leaders, upholding a high bar of engineering excellence. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Proven expertise in distributed systems, storage systems, and other relevant technologies. - Hands-on experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives with exceptional communication and collaboration skills. - Proven problem-solving skills and abilities to think strategically and make sound technical decisions. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline. - Minimum 5 years of industry experience in a technical leadership role, preferably as a tech lead or equivalent, in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment. - Proven history of effective technical execution and leadership. Job Information [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $232560 - $427500 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
