Overview

Our client is seeking a licensed Architect I to support the planning, design, and administration of a variety of architectural projects. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while contributing to projects from initial concept through construction completion.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, design capabilities, and project coordination experience, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to determine project goals, functional requirements, spatial needs, budgets, and timelines
  • Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions for new construction and renovation projects
  • Integrate engineering systems and technical requirements into cohesive project designs
  • Prepare and coordinate construction documents, drawings, specifications, and technical details
  • Assist in preparing project estimates, schedules, and contract documentation
  • Support bidding processes and assist clients during contractor selection and contract award phases
  • Administer construction contracts and conduct periodic site observations to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Prepare project reports, studies, operating manuals, and maintenance documentation as needed
  • Utilize architectural software platforms to develop and coordinate project deliverables
  • Manage project tasks and contribute to successful project delivery from inception through completion
  • Coordinate with BIM staff and consultants throughout project development

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited program
  • 3-5 years of professional architectural experience
  • Active Architectural License required
  • Experience with project administration, construction administration, and technical/specification writing
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and architectural detailing
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with the following software is highly preferred:
  • Revit
  • AutoCAD
  • AutoCAD Architectural Desktop
  • SketchUp
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite
