Full Job Description
.NET Architect designs, develops, and oversees the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance .NET applications. They define technical roadmaps, establish coding standards, guide development teams, and align software solutions with business needs. Key skills include extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and architectural patterns (microservices).
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design Define the technical vision, application structure, and system integrations for .NET applications.
Technical Leadership Guide development teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers on technical best practices.
Strategy & Standards Develop technical roadmaps, architectural patterns, and coding standards.
System Design & Optimization Ensure software scalability, security, and performance by reviewing infrastructure with DevOps teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration Translate business requirements into technical specifications for stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills
Frameworks/Languages Expert-level knowledge of C#, .NET 6/7/8+, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
Architecture Experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, DDD (Domain-Driven Design), and event-driven architecture.
Cloud Proficient with Azure (strongly preferred) or AWS services.
Database Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
DevOps/Frontend Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern frontend frameworks like Angular or React.
Experience & Qualifications
Typically 8-10+ years of software development experience, with several years in an architectural role.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
