Jackson Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, tertiary care teaching hospital and the major teaching hospital of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. It is the largest hospital in the state of Florida and the third largest in the United States. The hospital has more than 1,550 licensed beds and is a Level I trauma center, a pediatric trauma center, and a comprehensive stroke center. Jackson Memorial Hospital is also home to Ryder Trauma Center, one of the busiest and most respected trauma centers in the country.
