JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Application Support Specialist to bridge the gap between application development and modern infrastructure. you will support a cross-functional team by overseeing system reliability through proactive monitoring of application health, maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, managing vendor relationships, and assisting with modern deployment processes.
This role is ideal for a proactive IT professional who is eager to grow their skills in CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) while supporting established architectural standards. You will be a vital support pillar for the team, executing Agile/Scrum methodologies and adapting quickly to new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
DUTIES OF THE POSITIONThe duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- System Reliability & Monitoring: Perform routine health checks, oversee logging/alerting strategies, and proactively review the status of our software suites to ensure rapid incident response and maximum uptime.
- Legacy Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep, patching, and administrative support of existing internal applications, ensuring compatibility with our established DevOps guidelines.
- Technical Documentation: Create, maintain, update, and organize comprehensive technical documentation and deployment processes.
- Vendor Management: Act as the liaison with software vendors to track SLAs, coordinate support escalations, and prepare and update vendor management documentation.
- Application Management & Configuration: Administer, configure, and resolve minor bugs for internal platforms including but not limited to GoAnywhere MFT, Freshservice, GitHub, and others.
- Process Optimization: Be part of a team working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a culture of continuous improvement and documentation, supporting team stakeholders and translating business needs into actionable support tasks.
- Vulnerability Coordination: Work closely with the Release Manager to review security scans and assist in coordinating the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Process Execution & Support: Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by executing established deployment patterns and assisting with the automation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English and Spanish

- Work all hours required to fulfill job duties and responsibilities (including, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed)
- Travel as required
- Ability to work a hybrid model
- Provide coverage for other positions as requested
- Ability to carry and lift boxes and objects that may weigh up to 50 pounds.

PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:COMPUTER:Ability to operate within the Microsoft Windows environment; fluency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
Database Management: Experience with MSSQL, including the understanding of select queries
EDUCATION:Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred: Master's Degree in a technical or management discipline.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:Relevant industry certifications are strongly desired
EXPERIENCE:Total Experience: Minimum of 3 years in software support, application administration or systems support.
Support: Minimum 3 years experience in a support role (Application Deployment, Technical Support).
DevSecOps Interest: Familiarity with or a strong eagerness to learn modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native security.
Communication: Demonstrated ability to explain technical processes clearly to non-technical stakeholders and a willingness to adapt to new team workflows.
