Application Security Engineer

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience implementing Zero Trust compliant application and network security services and controls
• 2+ years of experience with next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Versa, Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper
• Knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards, including TLS, mTLS, hashing algorithms, or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Knowledge of application delivery products such as F5, Nginx, A10, or NetScaler
• Ability to work within DoD enterprise networks such as defense infrastructure, including DMZ and application security
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with In-Line Break and Inspect solutions such as reverse web proxy and forward web proxy
• Experience using Office 365 applications and Teams collaboration
• Experience working in DoD Cloud and on-premises cloud environments
• Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, DoD STIG, and FedRAMP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
