We are seeking an
Application Owner to join our
Information Technology team in
Boone, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of
Application Owner,you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support assigned applications to ensure reliable ministry operations.
- Maintain expert knowledge of assigned applications and implement features that meet ministry needs while protecting data security and privacy.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical and user documentation, including how each ministry area uses the applications.
- Test, communicate, and deploy new features and upgrades effectively, ensuring documentation remains current.
- Train help desk staff and system administrators to provide tier-one and tier-two support, while providing hands-on and on-call support as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science and five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in application administration and knowledge of systems analysis, systems development lifecycle, and low-code/no-code development, with proven ability to communicate across technical and business teams while managing vendor partnerships.
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire.
