Pay Range: $133,924.00 - $189,967.00 per year

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Application Lead provides leadership throughout the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic applications. This role partners with business teams, end users, and vendors to understand needs, optimize workflows, configure solutions, and ensure successful system adoption. The Application Lead will help shape future-state processes, support testing and go-live activities, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement while serving as a subject matter expert for their assigned application.

As an Application Lead, a typical day may include:
  • Lead the day-to-day planning, build, and support of Epic applications, partnering with clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver solutions that improve workflows and support patient care.
  • Work closely with end users, business leaders, and vendor partners to understand challenges, translate business needs into system solutions, and ensure projects stay on track from design through implementation.
  • Guide application configuration, testing, upgrades, and enhancements, making sure changes are thoroughly evaluated, documented, and aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Identify and resolve system issues, manage project priorities, coordinate testing and go-live activities, and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and support the application team by encouraging collaboration, helping solve complex problems, and ensuring users have the tools, documentation, and training needed for long-term success.

To Be Considered for the position, you must have:
  • Associates Degree
  • Professional or Hospital Billing Certification
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a leadership capacity
  • 6+years prior system build experience in Professional or Hospital Billing Claims and Electronic Remittance Administration.
