This role focuses on system administration, application support, and security monitoring across Linux and Windows environments. The ideal candidate is security-focused, technically skilled, and motivated to help protect enterprise systems against evolving threats.

Responsibilities- Perform system administration for Linux and Windows servers.
- Configure, maintain, and automate server processes including hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot sensor and monitoring devices, including physical installation when required.
- Apply fixes, patches, and upgrades in a timely manner and resolve server-related issues.
- Administer user and customer accounts and support escalated technical tickets.
- Deploy and maintain monitoring tools and applications.
- Monitor server environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
- Support enterprise security tools used for network defense and continuous monitoring.
QualificationsRequired- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
- Experience administering VMware-based architectures.
- Knowledge of physical and virtual server environments.
- Strong application administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Security+ certification.
Education & Experience (One of the Following)- High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
- Associates Degree with 8 years of experience
- Bachelors Degree with 6 years of experience
- Masters Degree with 4 years of experience
- Doctorate with 2 years of experience
Desired- Experience with hardware installation and cabling.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools.
- Network experience including architecture, switch administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud or virtualized environments such as AWS or VMs.
