Full Job Description
Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with customers and sales teams to translate technical requirements into high-impact, application-specific solutions that win and grow business.
  • Act as the technical voice in the room-advising customers, sales, and leadership on product capabilities, applications, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead solution development, including design modifications, application validation, and feasibility analysis to meet customer needs.
  • Drive cross-functional execution with engineering, quality, operations, and commercial teams to deliver solutions from concept through launch.
  • Own and lead technical problem-solving-analyzing field issues, driving root cause, and ensuring fast, effective resolution.
  • Support sales growth by contributing to proposals, technical presentations, and customer engagements that differentiate our capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, product improvements, and new applications based on market insights, customer feedback, and technical trends.


Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, product engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role.
  • Proven ability to work directly with customers to understand needs, present solutions, and influence technical decisions.
  • Strong foundation in engineering principles with the ability to apply them in real-world product applications.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to develop and communicate solutions.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial products, or engineered systems preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and business acumen-able to bridge engineering and sales to drive results.
  • Willingness to travel domestically at least one week per month and occasionally travel internationally.


$100,000 - $130,000 Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
