Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques. Formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel. Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products. Capabilities 3 Develop detailed guidance for cloud workloads that ensure compliance with Government security and regulatory requirements such as NIST SP 800-53 security controls7 3 Collaborate with cloud-focused teams across various organizations to design, test, and implement cloud workload security configurations and solutions.7 3 Facilitate the creation of procedures and cybersecurity guidance for migrations from legacy cloud environments or hardware environments into AWS7 3 Evaluate and research cloud services and make recommendations for security configurations of those services to ensure data is appropriately protected.7 3 Evaluate and research cloud security technologies and make recommendations for their use. 7 Required Qualifications 3 TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph7 3 All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.7 3 Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
