We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Developer III to join our engineering team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using .NET technologies and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, a passion for solving complex business problems, experience working in a regulatory environment, ideally healthcare and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
ResponsibilitiesPRIMARY JOB SKILLS:
- - Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- - Build and customize solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- - Integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs, web services, and data connectors.
- - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities using modern engineering principles
- - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support.
- - Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
- - Participation in the integration of multiple core systems including Sales, Admin, Member Services, Medical Record Management, Claims, and Finance.
- - Develop and implement a strategic plan to migrate .NET applications to the Power Automate platform.
- - Migrate custom applications from On-Premise to cloud-based solutions.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- - Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer) to generate, refactor, and optimize production-grade code.
- - Understanding of how AI tools are integrated into the development lifecycle, including testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- - Clear understanding of test automation and associated UI testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TestCafe).
- - Strong grasp of database design and optimization techniques.
- - Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- - Familiarity with Edifecs Smart Trading for healthcare data exchange.
- - Knowledge of Alteryx for data blending and advanced analytics.
- - Experience with SAP BusinessObjects for reporting and business intelligence.
QualificationsJob Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- - 5+ years of experience in application development.
- - Strong proficiency in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core).
- - Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, Blazor, JavaScript, React).
- - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- - Experience with Azure Key Vault integration for secure secrets management.
Pay Range Disclosure:In accordance with the Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act, the pay for this position is $ 125,000-$135,000 annually which reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay at the time of posting. Final compensation will depend on the candidate's experience, skills, and fit with the role's responsibilities.
