You will serve as the primary liaison between court stakeholders, business users, and technical teams, ensuring that platform capabilities are tailored to meet evolving judicial and operational needs. Your role will focus on translating complex court processes into actionable configuration solutions, managing customization efforts, and championing best practices for scalable, secure, and compliant platform delivery.

You will oversee the end-to-end configuration lifecycle, including requirements traceability, change management, and continuous improvement. You will facilitate cross-team collaboration, mentor junior staff, and ensure agile and Lean practices are embedded across all configuration and release activities.

Platform Configuration & Personalization
  • Lead the configuration and customization of court CMS platforms to support judicial processes, case types, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Design and implement personalization strategies, leveraging platform features to deliver tailored user experiences for judges, clerks, attorneys, and public users.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of configuration documentation, including configuration management plans, change logs, and audit trails.
  • Manage platform upgrades, releases, and integration of new features, ensuring minimal disruption to court operations.
  • Ensure all configurations support compliance with state and federal regulations, including CJIS, HIPAA, and accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, VPAT).

Requirements Traceability & Compliance
  • Support the maintenance of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for all configuration and customization efforts.
  • Ensure all requirements are captured, mapped, and tracked throughout the project lifecycle, supporting compliance and audit activities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, court subject matter experts, and functional leads to verify that requirements are met and documented in the RTM.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Present configuration updates, metrics, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including court leadership, IT, and vendor partners.
  • Facilitate workshops, demos, and user acceptance testing sessions.
  • Engage with platform vendors and external partners to ensure alignment on configuration best practices and roadmap priorities.

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of SIX (6)+ years of professional experience, ideally in application configuration, platform personalization, and agile leadership roles.
  • Experience managing requirements traceability and agile ceremonies across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with low-code platforms and cloud-native development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.

What Would Be Nice To Have
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and managing personalization and customization of case management systems (e.g., Equivant JWorks, Tyler Odyssey, ServiceNow, Dynamics 365, Appian, Salesforce).
  • Experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Experience with statewide or multi-jurisdictional court CMS implementations.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization initiatives in the justice sector.
  • Familiarity with the court system, judicial processes, and compliance requirements (e.g., CJIS, HIPAA, Section 508).
  • Experience with platform-specific personalization frameworks, reusable component libraries, and user experience optimization strategies.

The annual salary range for this position is $92,000.00-$153,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
