We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst - Pharmacist to support and optimize our Epic Willow pharmacy applications and medication-use workflows.

This role partners closely with pharmacy operations, clinical teams, providers, revenue cycle, and IT to ensure safe, efficient medication management, accurate order verification, and system performance. The ideal candidate combines clinical pharmacy expertise with strong technical and analytical skills, along with a passion for improving medication safety and workflow efficiency within Epic.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderately complex application issues and provides end user support.
  • Monitors applications for issues in connection with maintenance, upgrades and implementations.
  • Uses knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others. Assists in performing business operational process design, reengineering and documentation for new technology.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risk and resource requirements.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Impacts a range of customers, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. Works within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information, works to build consensus.
  • Independently, interacts in a meaningful way with customers to help drive solutions.


What's Available:
  • Full-time, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
  • Monday-Friday core business hours
  • Remote work options for residents in WI, MN, or IA only, with occasional need to work onsite for support initiatives in La Crosse, WI
  • Immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available for this position


An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Experience: at least 2-4 years of relevant pharmacy, healthcare IT, or informatics experience
  • License/ Certification: Pharmacist license to practice in the state of employment, some positions may require multiple state licenses
  • Epic Willow certification may be required or obtained within a defined timeframe
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear communication for end users
  • Experience in a healthcare IT or pharmacy informatics environment
