POSITION OVERVIEW

The Application Administrator II is a vital technical and governance role responsible for the configuration, maintenance, lifecycle management, and security compliance of enterprise software systems. Serving as a technical bridge between core platforms and end-user operational success, you will ensure reliable performance standards, system availability, and regulatory adherence within a regulated financial services environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • User Support & Incident Management: Provide technical and application-related support for bank applications and software systems. Handle incoming support tickets, log application incidents, troubleshoot software issues, and guide users to effective solutions. Coordinate with team members and software vendors to resolve application requests and ensure user satisfaction.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor enterprise application performance, assist with application version upgrades, and execute routine configuration updates to maintain system stability and daily uptime.
  • Deployment & Project Governance: Assist in implementation planning and actual execution of application deployments, version upgrades, and integration projects. Help define project scopes, establish milestones, and meet deadlines through effective technical governance.
  • User Acceptance Testing & Implementation: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new software releases and system implementations, ensuring smooth operational transitions for business units.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: Assist in monitoring system performance and identifying basic bottlenecks. Support database and application performance improvements, and help implement workflow updates to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain and manage internal knowledge bases effectively, ensuring accurate documentation of troubleshooting protocols and core operational processes.
  • Core & Specialized System Support: Provide administration for core processing systems, loan origination systems, reporting databases, and enterprise platforms, tracking system modifications through structured work orders and enhancement logs.


SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, train personnel, write reports, and communicate clearly with customers and employees.
  • Technical Infrastructure & OS Administration: Good knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Server administration, enterprise architecture, directory structures, and file system management.
  • Application Support: Practical experience with enterprise application support and application monitoring/performance tuning utilities.
  • Governance & Change Control: Thorough understanding and effective application of change control procedures, especially for all SOX applications.
  • Problem Solving & Independence: Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations, and work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both English and Korean is preferred.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Relevant professional experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise software administration, and application support, with direct experience working within banking or financial services institutions required.
  • FIS Banking System: Experience with FIS banking system is a plus.

Annual pay ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
