Job Title: Appian Developer

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated Appian Developer to support an upcoming project with Criminal Justice Information Center (CJIC) Support Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing Appian-based applications and workflows that support critical criminal justice operations. This role requires a strong understanding of the Appian platform, application development best practices, data analysis, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into functional Appian application components.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance code for the automated expungement portal and workflows within the Appian CJIM environment.
- Integrate third-party APIs and provide sustainment support for Appian-based workflows.
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements identified by AFOSI.
- Conduct unit testing and collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collect, analyze, and present data for recurring and ad hoc analytical reports.
- Prepare analytical responses for Congressional inquiries, FOIA requests, and other data calls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and application modernization efforts.
Skills Required:- Must possess an active Secret clearance
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Application Developer.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Appian platform.
- Appian Developer Certification preferred.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and developing workflow automation solutions.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Certification:- Appian Developer Certification.
- Experience supporting government or law enforcement systems.
- Familiarity with CJIM, criminal justice, or case management environments.
- Experience with workflow automation, business process management, and enterprise application integration.

Salary: $110K to $120K
