Associate Attorney to join its
Appellate Practice & Trial Support team across multiple office locations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of trial and appellate advocacy, supporting complex litigation matters through all stages of trial and appeal. The position provides
significant courtroom exposure, substantive writing opportunities, and collaboration with seasoned litigators on high-level legal strategy.
Candidate Profile- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record and demonstrated writing skills
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing, required.
- 2+ years of substantive experience in appellate practice and trial support
- Demonstrated experience handling appellate oral arguments and arguing legal motions
- Experience participating in charge conferences and preserving the trial record
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Judicial clerkship experience preferred
- Excellent oral advocacy and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities- Support trial teams by preserving issues for appeal and assisting with trial strategy
- Draft appellate briefs, dispositive motions, and other complex legal memoranda
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on substantive and procedural issues
- Participate in appellate oral arguments and trial-level motion practice
- Assist with jury charge conferences and ensure proper record preservation during trial
- Collaborate with litigation teams on high-stakes matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Provide strategic guidance on appellate risk and post-trial considerations
Compensation & Benefits- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $150,000-$215,000, as determined by experience and market factors
