Position Highlights

About the Opportunity:

• The Outpatient Palliative CareAPPwill treat patients in their homes or facilities within the Moore County area.
• The careteam includessevenPalliative CareAPPs andtwodedicated social workers.
• Weekday position with protected administrative time.
• Call Schedule 1:4 weeks with Hospice: M-F 5:00 pm- 8: 30 am, 24-hour coverage Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications

• NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
• PA must be a graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
• 2 years of advanced practice experiencerequired. NPs function autonomously across all units.
• Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision-making.
• Exceptional communicationskills;must be able to effectively navigate sensitive patient/family discussions.
• Clean background, NC license, and NC DEArequired.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
