DescriptionLoma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Critical Care, is seeking an advance practice provider (NP or PA) to join our team. Under general supervision, the Cardiothoracic ICU APP will provide care to critically ill patients with different cardiac illnesses. Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of intensivists, CT surgeons, fellows, residents, and advance practice providers. We provide 24/7 subspecialty coverage and have access to many learning opportunities and resources.
The Cardiothoracic ICU APP will go through an 8 to 12-week orientation tailored to their individual learning needs.
Procedures performed include central lines, arterial lines, and endotracheal intubations.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the state of California.
• Must have national certification as an advance practice provider.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate within a few months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cardiothoracic and/or ICU experience preferred, but not required.

Compensation & BenefitsThe compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $146,000 - $186,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
