Job Description:Job SummaryA full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) opportunity is available within a Family Medicine practice. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services and patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.
The provider will assess, plan, and manage patient care while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to evidence-based practices. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and provide primary care services
- Perform comprehensive patient examinations
- Compile and document appropriate patient information in the medical record
- Review diagnostic reports and make appropriate clinical recommendations
- Prescribe and refill medications in accordance with state regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Deliver patient education and promote preventive health measures
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
QualificationsEducation:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Experience:None required
Licensure/Certification:- Current Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP) or Physician Assistant license
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (if applicable to NP)
- DEA license
- AHA BLS-HCP certification required
- Advanced Life Support certification preferred
- Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations
Minimum Qualifications:- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare providers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, including experience with electronic medical records systems
