Full Job Description
Citi is seeking a Technology Lead Business Analyst to support strategic enhancements to the Citi Developer Portal platform and related API marketplace capabilities. This role will partner with product managers, engineering, UX, information security, legal/compliance, operations, and business stakeholders to improve the developer experience for corporate clients integrating with Citi APIs.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and digital platform experience with the ability to translate complex banking and API integration requirements into scalable platform solutions. The role supports initiatives across API onboarding, authentication, analytics, content management, self-service tooling, and client enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements/Book of Work Management
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for Developer Portal enhancements
  • Translate and breakdown stakeholder needs into detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with product, engineering and client-facing teams
  • Identify dependencies and influence teams to be aligned to the objective and timeline of delivery.
  • Support prioritization of portal enhancements based on business value, client experience, risk, and operational impact
  • Perform gap analysis between current-state and target-state capabilities
  • Partner with UX and engineering teams to improve navigation, discoverability, and usability of portal experiences
  • Possess working knowledge of Support initiatives related to:
  • API onboarding workflows
  • API product catalog and marketplace experiences
  • Client entitlement and access management
  • API documentation and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
  • Certificate management and authentication workflows
  • API testing and sandbox experiences
  • Portal content management and publishing workflows


Product & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate across technology, product, framework and infrastructure, legal, compliance and leadership teams.
  • Work closely with API engineering teams to understand integration patterns and client onboarding requirements
  • Support communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
  • Manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, and action items across multiple workstreams


SDLC & Agile Delivery Support
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
  • Support end-to-end SDLC activities from requirements gathering through UAT and production rollout
  • Assist with test planning, defect triage, and validation of delivered functionality
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, development, testing, and release activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client self-service adoption


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 6+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting digital platforms, portals, or enterprise applications
  • Experience working within Agile and/or Scrum environments
  • Strong documentation and requirements management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-starter, drive progress and be able to work with ambiguity
  • Expert in Jira and Confluence.
  • Expert in creating:
    • User stories
    • Process flows
    • Business requirements documents
    • Functional specifications
    • Acceptance criteria


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with API platforms, API gateways, or developer portals
  • Familiarity with:
    • REST APIs
    • OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
    • Certificates types and API authentication concepts
    • Webhooks
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech environments
  • Knowledge of digital client onboarding and entitlement processes
  • Experience with CMS platforms and content publishing workflows
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and developer engagement metrics
  • Have worked with tools such as:
    • Postman
    • Figma
    • ElasticSearch
    • CI/CD platforms
