AP Trade Finance AnalystHouston, TX | Onsite (77024)Salary: $85,000-$95,000 + 10% Bonus
Position SummaryThis role is responsible for owning the full-cycle Accounts Payable process while supporting month-end close, cash flow forecasting, and vendor management. The ideal candidate has strong AP fundamentals, enjoys improving processes, and thrives in a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities - Own full-cycle Accounts Payable processing (250+ invoices/month)
- Review, code, and process invoices
- Obtain invoice approvals and manage payment workflows
- Process ACH and wire payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Build strong relationships with vendors and logistics partners
- Prepare AP accruals and support month-end close
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and weekly payment planning
- Identify process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls
- Cross-train in Accounts Receivable and provide backup support as needed
Preferred Background - 2-5+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations
- Background in commodity trading, logistics, transportation, maritime, freight, or industrial industries preferred
- Experience processing freight or logistics-related invoices is highly desirable
- Microsoft Dynamics or ERP experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills

Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: $85,000-$95,000
- Annual Bonus Target: 10%
