Job Summary:
Qualified Candidates:
  • Proficiency in OB Anesthesia (350 deliveries/year) peripheral nerve blocks, and vascular access/line placement
  • Comfortable with independent/solo practice in a rural setting
  • Experience with pediatric, OB, peripheral nerve blocks, spinal and epidurals and central line placement
  • Adaptable to variable call demands and case mix
  • Values autonomy and a wide scope of practice
Call Structure:
  • 1:4 solo call model
  • Call responsibilities: surgical cases, OB and other hospital needs including ED support, airway management, and line placement
  • >50% callback rate on primary call nights
  • Must be available within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call

  • Small anesthesia team with broad clinical responsibilities
  • High level of autonomy in decision making
  • Dynamic coverage model requiring flexibility and collaboration
