Description
Opportunity for anesthesiologist with Level II trauma center, OSF St Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL. This Level II trauma center offers six ORs, a recently acquired da Vinci Surgical System, and Mako Robotic-Assisted Technology. OSF St. Joseph has an intimate feel while still allowing complex cases. OSF St Joseph Medical Center offers a dynamic and collaborative team atmosphere.

Salary: $550K annually, 13 weeks PTO

Responsibilities
• Case assignments: Neuro, ortho, general, and more
• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician

Salary: $550K annually
