Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Anesthesiologist, you will join CHI Health Clinic as a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Anesthesiologist at CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a 260-bed Level III Trauma Center and Regional Burn Center, CHI Health St. Elizabeth provides comprehensive care to patients throughout Lincoln and the surrounding communities. You will become part of an established and collaborative anesthesia team consisting of 8 physicians and 11 CRNAs, practicing in a supportive, physician-friendly environment that values teamwork, clinical excellence, and high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career while practicing the full scope of general anesthesia at a single hospital location.

Every day, you will provide comprehensive anesthesia care throughout the perioperative continuum, including preoperative evaluations, intraoperative management, and postoperative assessments. You will perform your own cases while collaborating closely with surgeons, nursing teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Your practice will include a diverse and balanced case mix featuring General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Burn Surgery, Spine Surgery, and other bread-and-butter anesthesia cases. Utilizing the Epic EMR system, you will work in an environment where CRNAs practice independently and physicians have the opportunity to maintain a broad and clinically rewarding practice.
