Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Prepares and administers general and regional anesthetics and pain medication, adjusting as needed before, during, and after surgery and other procedures.

Advanced Clinical Opportunities• TEE experience or training preferred (TEE training course can be arranged if needed)
• Regional anesthesia experience required
Schedule & Call• First cases begin approximately 7:15-7:30 AM
• "Waterfall" scheduling model
• Practice time shared between Main OR and ASC
• Night float week call structure
Team Structure• 9 Anesthesiologists (FTEs)
• 22 CRNAs
• Care Model
• 4:1 Medical Direction model
Minimum Requirements: - Active Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA are required.
- Additional fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
- Board certification in Anesthesiology.
- Specialty training in Anesthesiology.
- Skilled in the administration techniques of anesthesia, including epidurals and ultrasound-guided anesthesia.
- Must be in good standing with the Medical Staff of CarolinaEast Health Systems.
