Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our distinguished team at Piedmont Augusta Hospital. Position Highlights & Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care
- Supervise and collaborate with Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers (CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant) to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services
- Participate in providing 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the anesthesia care team
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Requirements:- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
