Job Description:As an Android App Developer, you will be responsible for developing solutions to design, code, and enhance components across a mobile application. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Design and implement innovative software solutions that meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge.
Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies to enhance software development processes. - Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
** This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days/week onsite in client location in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX
Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android mobile software development
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building mobile apps using at least one mobile language (Kotlin, Java, etc.)
- HS Diploma/GED
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third party libraries and APIs
- Self motivated with strong problem solving skills
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
