Full Job Description
Allied Digestive Health is seeking an experienced Lab Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume Gastroenterology (GI) laboratory. This role is critical to ensuring efficient clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient and provider experience. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with operational expertise, data-driven decision-making skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Share Point

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of a high-volume GI laboratory, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal room utilization
  • Lead, train, and supervise laboratory and support staff; manage schedules, coverage, and performance
  • Partner closely with physicians, nursing, anesthesia, pathology, and administrative teams
  • Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and Allied Digestive Health policies
  • Prepare and Pass regulatory inspection by CAP and CLIA.
  • Monitor quality metrics, productivity, and operational performance
  • Use SharePoint, Power BI and/or Excel to track volumes, staffing, and performance data; prepare reports and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support budget management, inventory control, and vendor coordination
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Laboratory Science, Biology, Life Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume Lab
  • Proven experience managing staff and operations in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SharePoint and Power BI preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
