Job Title: Analytics & Reporting Consultant
Location: Albuquerque, NM (Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite)
Job Type: W2 Contract Full-Time
Expected Hours Per Week: 40 Hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Standard Business Hours

The Analytics & Reporting Consultant is responsible for transforming large volumes of data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and actionable business insights that support divisional goals and decision-making. This role serves as a key partner to business stakeholders by developing reporting solutions, conducting data analysis, and identifying trends that drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Strong reporting, data analysis, and data management skills.
  • Experience with Excel, Access, SharePoint, Power BI, and other business applications.
  • Ability to transform large datasets into meaningful reports and actionable insights.
  • Experience using automation, bots, and AI tools to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate data insights to business stakeholders.
  • Focused on business analytics and reporting rather than advanced programming or software development.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Creating reports, dashboards, datasets, and analytical solutions that support divisional and organizational objectives.
  • Gathering business requirements and developing specifications for reporting and analysis needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address business challenges through data-driven solutions.
  • Producing, validating, and maintaining reports using system reporting tools and business intelligence platforms.
  • Conducting research and analysis using both internal and external data sources.

  • Supporting SharePoint environments and other vendor software systems to facilitate reporting, collaboration, and workflow management.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field; or six (6) years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing reporting and analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Experience creating automated workflows, bots, or leveraging AI technologies to improve reporting processes and productivity.
  • Ability to work with large and complex databases and datasets. Experience with enterprise data environments such as SQL, SAS, Teradata, or similar large-scale database platforms is highly desirable, though advanced programming expertise is not required.
  • Ability to extract, analyze, validate, and present data in a clear and meaningful manner for business users and leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Experience working with both internal and external data sources to develop accurate reporting and actionable insights.
  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities within data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a track record of developing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to lead projects, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and influence decision-making through data-driven analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring data integrity and report accuracy.
