Job Summary


The Analytics Consultant serves as a key pharmacy analytics partner responsible for delivering the analytical evidence that supports clinical, operational, and financial decision-making across pharmacy care management initiatives.

This role drives the analysis of pharmacy program outcomes - including medication adherence, drug therapy interventions, and member health outcomes - as well as financial savings and program performance.

The Analytics Consultant builds and maintains scalable reporting solutions to support pharmacy programs. The role collaborates closely with clinical pharmacists, project delivery, and business teams to identify opportunities, evaluate program effectiveness, and continuously improve outcomes through data-driven insights.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
  • Understanding, and being highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights.
  • Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python.
  • Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life.

  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrates experience analyzing and evaluating healthcare or pharmacy program outcomes.
  • Experience with financial impact analysis, savings tracking, and business case support.
  • Experience designing and optimizing reporting ecosystems and data delivery processes.
  • Experience identifying trends, anomalies, and actionable insights within complex datasets.
  • Experience with data governance, audit standards, and maintaining data integrity across reporting.
  • Experience enabling data-driven decision-making through stakeholder partnership and insight communication.
  • Experience with healthcare program delivery, clinical operations, or pharmacy-related analytics.
This position is expected to adhere to HCSC's hybrid/FLEX policy of 3 days onsite weekly at our Richardson or Chicago HQs.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range
$61,500.00 - $136,100.00
