Responsibilities

Peraton has an opportunity for you to join our military intelligence program(s) of record to deliver, operate and sustain modernized, transformed data science/ data analysis environments worldwide that enable speedy and precise decision making to warfighters.

Responsibilities:

The Analytic Methodologist supports the development of analytic strategies to resolve key intelligence questions for mission-driven results.

Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement advanced analytical models and methodologies to support decision-making processes.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and insights that can inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and evaluate a wide range of methods, models, and algorithms to develop more accurate, complete, objective, and anticipatory
  • analysis for intelligence production.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to continually enhance the quality of intelligence production assessments and reports.
  • Work with ambiguous information and deconstruct key questions.
  • Recommend analytic methodologies, develop data schema to structured observations, and support visualization of applicable data.
  • Identify, retrieve, manipulate, relate, and / or exploit structured data sets from all available sources.
  • Use scripts, visual analytic modeling tools, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for repeatable, widely applicable procedures.
  • Combine empirical or quantitative methods with data analysis for intelligence production of complex and data-driven assessments.
  • Evaluate the capabilities and limitations of analytic methodologies.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience; Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience; PhD with a minimum of 0 years of work experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Familiarity with intelligence databases, software, and analytical tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with users and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing situations to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Intelligence Fundamentals Certification for All Source Analyst.
  • Understanding of object-based intelligence (OBI) principles, workflows, and tradecraft standards.
  • Experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, and data integration methodologies.
  • Familiarity with government data standards and policies (e.g., IC, DoD), to include ICD203, Analytic Standards.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture(s) and tools (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working in the customer environment is preferred.


Security Clearance:

This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, US Citizenship is required to hold this clearance.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
