Description
The Partnerships and IDA Mobilization Vice-Presidency (PIMVP) manages the policies and resources underpinning the institution's financing architecture, including IDA, IBRD, Trust Funds, and Financial Intermediary Funds (FIFs). It provides a holistic approach to development financing, financial policy, and strategic engagement with funding partners.
The External Funds and Partnerships (EFPAR) leads the Bank's engagement in Trust Funds, Financial Intermediary Funds (FIFs), co-financing, and partner relations. The department administers a portfolio of nearly US$70 billion in Trust Funds and FIFs, sets the policy and procedural framework governing these instruments, and plays a critical intermediation role between the Bank's operational units and its funding partners. EFPAR comprises three business lines: FIFs, Digital, and Analytics; Trust Funds and Partner Relations; and Co-Financing.
Trust Funds and Partner Relations are organized around four functional clusters: (1) Trust Fund Policy, Client Services and Strategic Fundraising; (2) Knowledge Management and Learning; (3) Risks and Audits; and (4) Management of Single-Donor Trust Funds. Together, these clusters deliver end-to-end support for the Bank's trust fund portfolio, from policy and compliance to operational management, risk oversight, and institutional learning.
