DescriptionThis position serves as a central resource for real property lease administration and provides cross-functional support to Land, Operations, Financial Reporting, Audit, Legal, Commercial, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Facilities, and Tax. The Senior Land Analyst works closely with these groups to interpret lease terms, manage payment obligations, maintain accurate contract records, support audits and reporting, resolve ownership and payment issues, and ensure lease data is accurately reflected across Company systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review, analyze, and interpret real property leases, term agreements, and related contracts to identify key rights, obligations, payment provisions, critical dates, renewal options, termination rights, and special conditions.
- Administer the full lifecycle of real property leases, including new lease setup, renewals, amendments, terminations, notices, payment obligations, ownership changes, and required follow-up.
- Maintain accurate electronic lease records, including agreements, amendments, correspondence, payment documentation, ownership information, and other supporting materials.
- Set up and update suppliers, payees, ownership records, payment instructions, division of interest information, and lease data in Oracle and Quorum ODL.
- Process and monitor lease payments, receivables, reimbursements, CPI or other index-based adjustments, and related transactions in accordance with contract terms and Company procedures.
- Coordinate with Land Representatives, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to associate leases and term agreements with the appropriate assets, pipeline systems, facilities, projects, and operating areas.
- Serve as a cross-functional resource to Land, Operations, Legal, Finance, Audit, Commercial, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Facilities, and Tax by providing lease interpretation, documentation, reports, and issue resolution.
- Communicate with landowners, governmental entities, vendors, and other external parties to resolve payment questions, ownership changes, documentation requests, and lease administration matters.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and supporting documentation related to lease obligations, payment status, renewals, expirations, ownership changes, audit requests, and other real property matters.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in lease data, payment records, ownership information, contract documentation, and system records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in land administration, lease administration, contract administration, payables, real property, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing and administering contracts, leases, term agreements, or other legal agreements.
- Quorum ODL experience required.
- Midstream energy, pipeline, right-of-way, land, or real property experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Google Earth, ArcGIS, Oracle, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder requests.
