Summary of Job Function:

The Senior Business Analyst supports Revenue Cycle and Finance leadership by driving advanced analytical initiatives and developing enterprise level reporting solutions.

In addition to tracking, analyzing and developing reports, this role leads the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting pipelines.

The Senior Analyst works with large datasets to uncover key business trends, operational issues, and performance opportunities.

The role partners with business leaders to define analytical needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver data driven insights that support strategic decision making across the organization.

Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:
  • Degree in the field of business management, finance or 5 years experience in business analytics and healthcare revenue cycle Microsoft Office (Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on the business need
  • Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
  • Strong Hands-on experience with analytics using tools like Tableau Experience SQL, Informatica, Snowflake
  • Experience with SQL Server & SQL Writing
  • Experience with ETL tools in the market
  • Experience with EPIC Clarity Data
  • Ability to effectively document and translate business requirements
  • Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings
  • Great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle varying workloads with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proactive, organized, detail oriented, and quality driven

Job Specific Requirements
  • Design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Develops Operational Dashboards to support Revenue Cycle Operations in Claim Preparation, Submission, Management, Posting, and Collections
  • Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders
  • Develop distribution ready reports and analyses on book of business as well as individual clients or departments,
  • Develop dashboards leveraging SQL and Tableau
  • Ability to document processes and suggest technology/business process to better support business operations
  • Assists Onboarding of New Entities with data-related requests during member onboarding
  • Develop optimal data management and reporting practices, including best practice identification
